How Are Rigid Kayaks Packed

Q1: What packing methods are available for rigid kayaks?
We offer two main methods:

  1. Pallet packing – each kayak is placed on a pallet and covered with a nylon bag. This method is only used for single kayaks.
  2. Bubble wrap – kayaks are wrapped individually with bubble wrap for protection.

Q2: Which packing method is more space-efficient and with less labor?
Pallet packing with a nylon bag is very space-saving, It allows more kayaks to be loaded into a container compared to bubble wrap. Also can use fork lift load and unload the kayaks, save lots of labor force.

Q3: How are kayaks secured on the pallet?
There is a tenon-and-mortise structure between the kayak and the pallet. 6 kayaks are fixed onto one pallet.

Q4: When should I choose bubble wrap packing?
Bubble wrap packing is suitable when extra cushioning is needed, or when pallet packing is not preferred due to handling requirements.
