Ridgeside is a manufacturer specializing in rigid boards, but does not produce fiberglass paddleboards or inflatable paddleboards. It offers two manufacturing processes: blow molding and Twin-Sheet-Thermoforming , each with different applications and functions. The ROCK type uses blow molding technology, with models including ROCK-10.10 All Round, ROCK-10.6 All Round, and ROCK-11 Touring. The IRON type uses thermoforming technology, with models including IRON-10.0 Surf and Wind Surf 270L.
ROCK-10.10, ROCK-11 & ROCK-10.6:
Naunau: High Density PE outer shell, PU foam Core.
Target users: Beginners and intermediate players. Thanks to its unique material and structure, the ROCK paddleboards are extremely durable and require minimal maintenance, making them particularly suitable for rental use.
Performance features: Faka'au ke tu'uloa, UV resistant, Not prone to cracking.
IRON-10.0 Surf & Wind Surf 220L:
Naunau: ASA outer shell, EPS foam core, multi-layer fiberglass reinforcement.
Target users: Kamata'i, intermediate players, and advanced players.
Performance features: Excellent stiffness, superior UV resistance, ma'ama'a (30% lighter than blow molded paddle board under the same size), high-gloss surface finish.
Ridgeside Outdoors is currently the only manufacturer in China and even Asia that produces both blow-molded and thermoformed paddle boards.
