Adjust the size of the Kayak Spray Skirt:
Consult the purchaser or manufacturer to find a suitable skirt. You can also measure the longest and widest parts of the boat’s cockpit coaming and match these dimensions to the Kayak Spray Skirt deck. Many Kayak Spray Skirts are sized to fit your waist. Make sure you choose a size that fits what you plan to wear while paddling. If the Kayak Spray Skirt has shoulder straps, you’ll want to make sure you can adjust them so the deck lays flat when you’re sitting in the cockpit.
To check the fit before paddling, put on the Kayak Spray Skirt, and once on the boat, start tying the Kayak Spray Skirt and wrap it around from the edge to the front (make sure the catch ring is not caught on the lower lip).
